Good idea. To add to that idea, instead of catching practically any monster, what about fighting a boss monster (not all of them) and when you defeated it, you can draw it's spirit into your arsenal and use it as a summon instead?

I think a "black hole" spell would be cool.
1 target enemy
2 activate
3 watch all enemies in range slam in to him and crush him!!!!
4 use enfame !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in fable 1 the only spells i used were lightning and the heal spell.

Hopefully there will be a nic range of speels in the second one like there was in the first 1 though.

Elemental spells would be cool...although, remember the two new spells in TLC? Divine Fury and the other?(Forgot what it was called.) We need more of those kinda...Lightness and Darkness spells..usually in most games, Light and Dark spells deal the most damage...and it would be fun to have some kind of Dark spell where you can like..summon a huge demon or warp portal that sucks everything around inside it..:mischief:

Oh, and another spell that would be very useful..is maybe a spell that would blind your enemy would be very useful...and greater levels allow the victim to become blinded longer. Another spell that would be useful (Simular to Physical Shield) would be a barrier spell..but it wouldn't take any Will or Health to use it, and it could withstand any attack(Except maybe boss attacks) and the only draw back would be how much time you can have it up for.

I'd like to have a spell that imbues your weapon with fire and all sorts of stuff. For example, the weapon could explode on impact and effect multiple foes, or if the weapon is imbued with lightning it deals huge amount of damage on a single foe. Another one I'd like to have is to weaken the enemy, like his weapon would weight 500 pounds and he would swing very slowly. Those are what I want :)

It was very nice idea that you could enslave the soul of a defeated boss. But it would also be cool if there was a spell "Soul Trap" that you cast on an enemy and when the enemy dies you get the soul under your control and you can summon it whenever you want to. And if u don't like a silly Hobb in the later game, you can Soul Trap another, thus more powerful creature

Screamers cry*
alot like drain health but u sacrifice health to regain mana

Ghostly form*
for a certain ammount of time physical attacks cant damage you but magical atk's will do more damage (less damage and longer duration through growth)

Zombie form*
basically a vice versa of ghostly form

Summon Undead*
you summon a leigion of lesser undead (growing in strentgh and duration and ammount through growth)

Shadow grasp*
black hands sprout from the ground pick up enemies shake and chuck them away(hits more than 1 enemie through growth)

these would be sweet oh and for the 2nd and the 3rd one you can only hav 1 on at a time and they use these instead of physical sheild.

An illusion spell would be cool. Casting an illusion of yourself to distract enemy attention while you sneak around to steal his/her belongings (or whack 'em at the back :p ). :D

i thought i heard somewhere that every spell will have an area affect and a focused affect that or they will hav a 1st or second effect

What about a swarm of insects that you shoot out of your hand. They could have a wide spread effect but instead of inflicting a lot of damage they cause your enemy to flail about trying to swat away the bugs.

clone,teleport,invis,some kind of poison spell,summon rock golem, and keep berserk and that one spell that shoots red stuff from the ground hitting everyingthing around you.. yeaaa sweet :D

im guessing it would be evil, i cant see a spell that drives peep insane be good :D

Anyway; i'd like a spell that could freeze time, not just slow it down, the drawback could be that it only lasted for a very short time and it had a long cooldown, so that it could be used just when u needed it the most.

F.ex: If u was being attacked by many npcs and u was about 2 die u could use it 2 get away or leave the finishing touch so that u didnt have 2 die.
Leave the n00bs alone, they cant help being so ridiculously stupid and untalented :rolleyes:

apparently they made fireball and enflame the same which satisfies my need for burning things, but a earth spell that trapped the opponent in quicksand or something would be cool. Something like the force choke would be cool, or maybe something that works like enflame in the beginning but makes your person an isntant giant entity of pure evil. Or even better yet a spell that rips enemies legs off and beats them to death with their own legs lol, or something like the flash steps from bleach would be cool

Yeah they are making it so that each spell has a projectile and a surround attack to it.

i think that they should have a spell where you could create a temporary portal in one place then go somewhere else and create another to join them for example you are in the middle of a forest and you have seen a door that can only be opened by having a certain amount of keys but you dont have the amount you need so instead you create a portal and find your way to a place you can get more keys then you create another portal linking the two and teleport back to the door.

I also think that their should be evil and good spells but the evil ones are truely evil and horrible and it makes you think twice about wether you are actually evil enough to do this to someone.

and possibly a spell where it lets you take control of an unsuspecting NPC so then you could kill people without them nowing its you or sneak past people to open a door for you.
