What is the best level to dual class a Kensai to a mage?

Personally, I would think that dualing on lvl 9 is the best, cuz then you get a extra prof. point, and it won't take that long till you regain your class. If you dual on lvl 12, you would also get a extra prof. point (correct me if I'm wrong), but it would take a bit to long till you regain your class. Image

Level 9, if you're going from a fighter. It gives you an extra proficiency point, and those are, after all, the main reason to have a fighter who dual-classes.

Remember, not all new classes permit you to use the weapons you've chosen as a fighter, even after you've risen in your second class above your first class' level. Check out the manual's weapons list to see who can wield what.
