To make sure long-time followers of Star Wars: The Old Republic are able to claim their favorite guild name and can start recruiting members well before the game's launch, BioWare Austin has added a Guild Headquarters section to the official website. Basically, the new area allows you to create a guild, administer a created guild, or apply to guilds that best fit your play style.

I guess I might as well use this opportunity to found Servants of the Banshee, the very small guild I've been assembling for GameBanshee coverage purposes since my Dark Age of Camelot days. If anyone here would like to join our small staff when the game is finally ready for the masses, feel free to apply.
