Apparently Major Nelson's listing of a PC demo for Fable III was incorrect, as IncGamers reports that the listing was removed because the demo is "no longer scheduled". To pique our curiosity even more, Lionhead apparently didn't know anything about a demo:
IncGamers got in touch with Lionhead to find out what exactly happened and the official line is that there was never a PC demo planned for release and that there's been some misunderstanding along the way.
A demo showcasing the reworked UI and control system would have been really nice.
