This post on the official Skyrim forums is heating up with reports from many PlayStation 3 owners who claim that the game becomes virtually unplayable once their savegame file size reaches around 6MB and above. One user even produced this YouTube video to show how the game stops responding to user input and becomes laggy in certain areas as the savegame file grows in size.

Personally, I haven't had any issues on PC, but those of you playing the PS3 version might want to keep this in mind. Apparently this was an issue that affected Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, as well.
