King Arthur 2 is great fun. It's the strategy equivalent of Skyrim in many ways: full of horrible bugs, but if you can stomach picking wings and legs out of your teeth, you'll love the game to pieces. It's definitely fun, and worthy of a high score; hopefully in a couple of patches it will get one. For now though, I'm rating it 7/10. It's definitely a top notch game, and my favourite of anything paradox has produced so far (except Hearts of Iron Card Game I LOVE card games). Fans of the series, fans of .ah screw it. This game is fun, plain and simple. It's worth every dime. Go pick it up!
Gaming Bolt, 6.5/10.
You can also capture cities here, and the bonus they give are used to buff up your enemies; they're mostly insignificant at best. it doesn't hurt in capturing them, though, so go ahead. The game could have been much better, but the studio it seems required more time here and, probably more money. King Arthur 2 is an enjoyable romp, but only if you haven't tasted Shogun 2 yet; if you have then don't bother with this, seriously.

It is without a doubt that King Arthur II seems to have streamlined a lot of its RTS features that were prevalent from its predecessor. Although this may make the game more approachable to new players, the oversimplification of features takes away the strategic depth that made the first game work well in conjunction with its RPG elements. Furthermore, the linearity of the campaign is a disappointment. However, its redeeming qualities still lie with its great storytelling, the RPG elements such as its questing and stat upgrades, and of course, the 3D battles. That said, King Arthur II may leave fans of the series wanting more, but may be the right draw for those new players intrigued by the series.
