I'm not sure how the news will be received by long-time Infinity Engine fans, but a few minutes ago Overhaul Games' Trent Oster confirmed via Twitter that they plan to release DLC for Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition following its launch, and that at least some of it will cost us money. Word is:
We plan to support the game after release with DLC.

We'll be doing free feature improvements and existing content improvements as we go, but we are also planning some paid DLC.
And don't forget that I continue to keep track of any and all such revelations in our original announcement newsbit.  Any thoughts on these latest updates?
