The Dark Triad: Dragon's Death Kickstarter Relaunch Delayed

After our failed first Kickstarter campaign, we know we can't ask for 120k again. That was 10 months of development to pay the salary of 7 people (me and Miguel included), plus other expenses as 3D assets.
Instead of relauching in early May as we said, we'll take two extra months to do things right (3 months in total). Rushing to launch another KS without changing the face of the game and improving upon what we have would be bad for us when trying to reach more visibility. Next time, it's a Win or Lose situation. We are pretty aware of it.
As we will take 3 more months, plus the month during KS, we will have been 4 months in production when we finish the KS campaign. This means we can ask for less money this time. We are thinking about 40k. This is actually a 1/3 of what we asked the first time. How can it be? Besides having reduced the develoment time to 6-7 months from the end of KS in early August as mentioned before due to these 4 months of development, Miguel and me will rennounce to our salary during these 6-7 months, and also some of the team members have willingly helped us so we are able to adjust our budget even more.
That being said, this alone justifies the lower amount of money we will ask for, and that alone will help us to complete the development of The Dark Triad. Additionally, we've opened an indiegogo campaign to secure some fundings for these 4 months, as we'll need to outsource 3D assets and pay a PR agency to generate more visibility to gain the media attention. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-dark-triad-dragon-s-death/x/2787874?c=home Thanks to all of you who have supported us so far! =)
What I'm talking here is something many indie devs have had to deal with more than once, so fear none! =)
These 3 months to prepare KS will mean that what you'll see more and better stuff. We will soon share with you not only the new story as promised, but also the Vision Doc. You'll find in it plenty of information about the new take on the game. There are some radical changes for the better we think, always within our budget scope. It's important to notice that we are not throwing away most of the job done. We will need to rework the stats and abilities, plus adding a reputation system we'll talk about in coming updates, and also removing that 7-min story. but let's be honest, it was too long anyways! =P
We are excited to show you what we've come up with, and we we'll need your feedback soon for if we need to adjust or change something to make it even better. We want to take the collaborative process and level of interaction with our supporters to a next level and tell you what we are exactly doing at every moment!
