Given the passion of some of our commenters I thought I could note that, while the Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter campaign is about to wrap up and won't be updating anymore until the end, there's a live stream with Larian's Swen Vincke and producer David Walgrave playing the game in co-op to showcase the latest build's intricacies and secrets.. which won't be secret anymore after being shown, though Swen assured us that much of the content will be different in some ways at release given that the folks at Larian are perfectionists and change their mind often.

There's a very real chance that we might reach the $1,000,000 stretch goal with day-night cycles and NPC schedules now, so if you're considering buying Divinity: Original Sin you might (or might not, backing a Kickstarter is always a calculated risk after all) want to just back the crowdfunding campaign now and snatch a lower-priced copy.
