Dark Souls III Officially Announced, Early 2016 Release, CGI Trailer, Directed by Miyazaki

After a bevy of rumors, Bandai Namco has actually announced Dark Souls III with a CGI trailer during the Microsoft E3 press conference. The game is slated for a 2016 release, and the content of the video seemed to match the previous leaks very closely, with similar environments, and a character carrying around a corpse, presumably to use it as part of a "sacrifice ceremony".

Here's the trailer:

Note that the text description confirms the game is in fact directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the president of From Software, who has recently directed Bloodborne, and has previous led all the Souls games save for Dark Souls II.
