I suspect many of us were expecting a substantial gameplay showing of Mass Effect: Andromeda at this year's E3 conference. While that might yet materialize, the conference of BioWare's parent company, EA, only yielded us an interesting in-engine trailer. It's better than nothing, but it's hardly something to be excited about, all this time after the original announcement:
