Some additional details:
With our Locked & Loaded update, we’re bringing you an all-new update to Daily Ops! Including a new game mode, locations, mutations, enemy types and rewards.
Join Steve Massey (Lead Level Designer) and Justin Nesbit (Senior Level Designer) for a deeper look at the updates coming to Daily Ops[...]
NEW MODE AND LOCATIONS
In the brand-new Decryption Mode, your mission is to disable three Radio Interceptors for Vernon Dodge. You’ll need to hunt for three enemy “Code Carriers,” and then take them down to get a special code you can use to disable a Radio Interceptor. Be careful, though! For every Code Carrier you take down, the enemy waves will become even more deadly. Enemies will continue until you take down the final boss and pulled the plug on the final interceptor.
You’ll be able to experience Decryption Mode and other Daily Op modes in all new locations. We’ve added Vault 96, Watoga Raider Arena, and West Tek Research Center.
NEW ENEMIES, MUTATIONS, AND REWARDS!
We’ve added Scorched, Mothman Cultists, and Mole Miners to the pool of randomized enemy types you may encounter in any Daily Ops mode.
In addition, enemies you encounter inside Daily Ops have unique mutations that bring their own unique challenges to each Operation you complete. In Decryption, enemies have a default mutation called Savage Strike, which causes enemy attacks to be more deadly by ignoring your armor resistances. In addition to Savage Strike, we’ve added several more mutations to keep you on your toes:After you’ve blasted your way through these updates, you’ll also experience all-new rewards to the Daily Ops pool! Including new Covert Scout Armor, which has some built-in stealthy utility. We’re also adding plans for the “Unstoppable Monster” and “Medical Malpractice” legendary weapons, and a variety of new plans for objects you can build in your C.A.M.P.
- Toxic Blood: On death, enemies leave behind poisonous hazards.
- Group Regeneration: Enemies emit an aura that heals other enemies in the area.
- Swift Footed: Enemies have increased movement speed.
