Grim Dawn Patch v1.1.9.6 Available

Crate Entertainment keeps tinkering with Grim Dawn's balance even though the action-RPG is currently in maintenance mode. As a result, we get this sizable new patch that addresses a bunch of assorted issues and adjusts the numbers for a lot of skills and items.

We are please to have our latest bug fix and balancing update in your hands. With V1.1.9.6, we have revisited ranged weapons and made them a much more viable endgame choice in general, compared to the limited selection from before. Likewise, we reviewed many niche playstyles and improved the availability of skill points bonuses for them. And that’s just the beginning!
This update is now live on Steam and coming posthaste to GOG and Xbox.

[Xbox][Crucible]
- Addressed a number of issues that can rarely result in a memory leak while playing the game for extended periods of time.
- Fixed a memory leak which occurred when loading localization data.
- Fixed an issue with projectile fragments (ex. Ravenous Earth, Panetti’s Replicating Missile) not spreading out as intended

- Increased the Cooldown between Crimson Pools cast by Kubacabra in the Crucible

- Increased the Cooldown between Crimson Pools cast by Kubacabra in the Shattered Realm
[Tech]
- Fixed an issue where Leap attacks would not be as responsive as intended when using one-handed guns (not-dual wielding).
- Fixed an issue where Leap attacks would not be as responsive as intended when using two-handed melee weapons on female characters.
- Increased the speed of the two-handed ranged kneeling “barrage” animation by 60%
- Increased the speed of the two-handed ranged kneeling “double-shot” animation by 10%
[Game]
- Fixed a memory leak which could occur when loading items with certain combinations of stats.
- Fixed a crash which could occur randomly when some randomly generated items were present in the game world.
- Fixed a crash which could occur when rendering fonts with some combinations of characters.
- Following a review of fire codes, the Bastion of Chaos has had most of its doors removed.
- Fixed an issue where some Arcane heroes did not have their arcane glow visual
- Fixed an issue where certain monster skills could become targeted by on hit effects rather than the casting monster.
- Increased monster % Physical Resist on Ultimate difficulty by 2%
