Dwarf Fortress is a title, I suspect, pretty much everyone has heard of, but very few know what it's actually about or how to play it. But seeing how the game was recently released on Steam to plenty of overwhelmingly positive reviews, I wouldn't fault you for wanting to learn a thing or two about this famous project.
If that's the case, you might want to watch the latest episode of Matt Barton's Matt Chat show where he spends roughly four hours with this roguelike dwarf simulator.

Dwarf Fortress started off as a freeware game back in 2002, but now the developers are millionaires with a tremendously successful product on their hands. What makes it special? Well, check out my video and see for yourself! It isn't for everybody, but if you're the sort who likes in-depth gameplay mechanics and attention to detail, you're going to LOVE this game.
