Triumph Studios, the Dutch team behind the Age of Wonders and Overlord series, was acquired by Paradox Interactive back in 2017. So far, this partnership has led to the release of Age of Wonders: Planetfall - a more sci-fi take on Triumph's long-running TBS/RPG/4X hybrid series.

And according to this Twitter announcement, Triumph and Paradox are just about ready to reveal their next project. The livestreamed reveal will be taking place on January 19, 2023, and the wording of the announcement suggests that if we'll be getting a new Age of Wonders title, it's going to be returning to its fantasy roots.
