The holidays are all about lists. Santa's naughty or nice list, most Christmas-celebrating anthropoid's shopping lists, and of course it's that special time of the year where the reminiscing helmets get put on and the year-end lists come out to play. In that spirit, GamespotUK released their 15 Most Influential Games of All Time. They even follow it with the 10 Runner's Up, games that almost made it.

Most of the games, if you've been following games avidly for some time, are not going to be surprising at all. Keep an open mind though, because these types of lists are meant to be fun, not absolute. For the most part, game design is evolutionary.
