Casting Animations

CJ, the co-art director for DAoC, made an appearance on the Developer's Round Table today and posted a response to a question posed about caster animations:

    Q: I hope that different spells will have different motions when casting them. All the spells in the video seemed to have the same arm motions while casting. Would it not make sense that a wizard would cast differently then a mage, or that different spells would require different motions?

    A: Yeah, those animations are pretty old and entirely temporary. You'll have different animations for different spells, different realms, etc.
