Before taking a look around - there's a handy mini-map function to help navigate, I take a moment to don the light upper body armor and to equip the Meta-Shield received for joining the Omni forces. The latter also serves as my starting weapon. In addition, I activate the two start-up nano-crystals, one that conjures up a spider-like pet, and the other that will allow me to inflict a bit of damage from a distance. As I wander and explore, Rubi-ka's twin suns rise. For a short moment, the city is bathed in color that overcomes its natural drabness. But before very long, it's the same city again, merely more clear in the daylight, with wandering robots, guards, abandoned hulks of vehicles, more statues and more industrial grayness. Adventure? Yes, that exists on Rubi-ka as well, even within Omni-1.
