Rumors started spreading today of another EverQuest expansion in production - this one containing at least one new race, and a new planet!
We contacted our sources at Sony Online Entertainment who confirmed the rumors, but could not provide further details until an official announcement in the near future.
What is known for sure at this time is that there is another expansion being worked on, and it will contain at least one new race and planet.
Wonder how they're going to work in that new planet... I mean, with the technology the way it was then/is now, I'd guess that the story will have another race coming to Norrath instead of vice versa, and opening some sort of transport to their home planet. Maybe peaceful negotiations? Maybe not? It's fun to speculate.
