Though Ragnar isn't ready to show the game in action, he was kind enough to give us some concept art depicting the characters and graphical style of the game. "Midgard is very different," he told us. "It plays like a cross between Civilization, The Settlers and Sim City." Players follow professions - blacksmith, farmer, sailor, lawyer, for example - and group together to form villages. Collective investment of resources lets the villages expand, building new facilities and exploring to find new adventures. "At its core, the game is about building," Ragnar said, adding that co-operation and social interaction will also play large parts.
