At The Door

Gamer asks about how doors will handle 'blocking':

Someone mentioned a tactic of blocking a door with an invisible person....is there a good way for a creature to shove aside a much weaker creature? (that is blocking the door)

    Just for reference-

    Quotes (Trent Oster, NWN Producer):

The light level of a given area will effect your ability to hide. In a dark gloomy room it will be much easier to hide in shadows than in a well lit area. If the hidden or invisible character is blocking a door, he/she becomes dimly visible when a player bumps into him/her. If the player is invisible he/she can return to invisibility by moving away from the character he/she ran into. For the thief, he/she is out of luck and is no longer hidden.

Doors will be objects in NWN and as such will have a "bump radius" which it will "bump" creatures out of. In NWN you can also rotate the camera.

    :AND:

We will support knockdowns as an animation type. You can knock enemies down in combat using the special attack. We will support triggering the knockdown state from the scripting language.
