EUROPEAN BETA TEST OF DARK AGE OF CAMELOT OPENS
GOA.COM and WANADOO ANNOUNCE COMMENCEMENT OF FIRST PHASE BETA IN EUROPE
FAIRFAX, VA -DECEMBER 28, 2001 - Mythic Entertainment (www.mythicentertainment.com), creator of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Dark Age of Camelot, in conjunction with its European partners, has announced that the game has entered the first phase of beta testing in the UK, France and Germany. Dark Age of Camelot is developed by Mythic Entertainment and co-published with Abandon Entertainment (www.abandonent.com), and was the number-one selling PC game in the U.S. in October 2001. It remains one of the top ten selling PC games and is the fastest growing MMORPG ever, having sold over 150,000 copies since its release on October 9th 2001.
Journalists and three thousand eager MMORPG fans that pre-registered at www.camelot-europe.com when the beta test was announced will soon be allowed to enter the first of three planned European servers. The second phase of the beta testing, utilizing French and German language servers, will continue until the highly anticipated January 21st 2002 launch in France and the February 1st 2002 launch in the UK and Germany.

Dark Age of Camelot will be exclusively distributed by Wanadoo in France, UK and Germany.
