HomeLAN - The multiplayer features for the game include full development tools, support for servers, and most importantly support for persistant characters on those servers. How hard has it been to bring these types of rather unique features to Neverwinter Nights?
Greg Zeschuk - It’s been a huge load of work developing the wide range of features included in Neverwinter Nights. We’ve got a very large and hardworking core game development team, and we’re also blessed with a really excellent Tools Group at BioWare. Our Tools Group has been instrumental in leading the charge to make the game tools useable by people beyond skilled and experienced designers. We’ve been working for quite a long time on the game rules and tools in concert so they work well together. The tools we’re distributing with the game are identical to the ones we use in house to make the content we’re releasing with the game.
