Asheron's Call 2 will have a number of features that should help make the game much more exciting and interactive than the typically repetitive routine that many players expect from online role-playing games. For instance, rather than having individual, linear skills that need to constantly be improved, the sequel will split trade skills from combat skills. Combat skills may be improved only by spending character points each time a character gains a level, while trade skills may be improved only by use.
