Q: I've heard you don't have to go to town to sell equipment, or make new equipment?

A: That's true. Even in the wilderness you can drag a weapon and turn it into gold. You're transmuting it into gold actually, because you've learned the power of transformation. It's part of the back story. You can turn anything into gold. You can also take a sword you don't like and turn it into a piece of armor, if you have the weaponsmith skill.
