BioWare's Brad Grier dropped us an email announcing that Neverwinter Nights v1.23 is no longer a beta patch and can be installed by using the "Update" button on the game's splash screen. Here's a rip from his email:

In this patch we've addressed a number of significant concerns that user's have reported to us over the past few weeks, including:

- We have removed SecureROM disk checking.
- Optimized some multiplayer code for modem/high-ping users.
- Added new Toolset Wizards. See below for details.
- Improved overall game stability.
- Added the option "Supress Base Servervault" to prevent listing characters in the root of a Server Vault
- Added code to handle bad save game data properly.
- Invalid Character bug in Server Vault is fixed (ICB Bug).
- More DM Client fixes for possesion, factions, and crashes... there's more, but you can check out the full readme file in the patch directory, or online here:
