I wasn't overly enthusiastic about Icewind Dale II. Despite moving to Dungeons & Dragons Third Edition rules, the game seemed much too familiar, it didn't look particularly good or run particularly well on my computer, and it didn't even come close to capturing my imagination. The Infinity Engine had a nice run while it lasted, but five games over four years is enough, and it's time for Black Isle Studios to move on.
