At this point in time, the schedule is for beta testing to begin next spring, with launch targeted for summer in the UK, and a couple of months later in North America. Ed pointed out that the developers are committed to releasing a game worthy of the property, and that these tentative dates will be adjusted as necessary to meet this objective. English, French and German versions are planned to begin with. Sega Europe has signed on to handle the publishing duties on the continent, and prospective partners have been identified for this side of the pond, although nothing was stated as to whether a deal is in place or imminent. We certainly hope this is the case; the nearly three hours we spent bringing ourselves up to date also served to reinforce our impression that Warhammer Online is a potentially distinctive title worth watching very closely over the coming months.
