EverQuest II Interview

Game Club Central has conducted an interview with Steve Danuser, community manager for Sony's upcoming EverQuest II. A snippet to follow:
Q: EverQuest II is said to reduce the learning curve for both new and seasoned players. Can you give some examples of how this will be accomplished?

A: The early levels of the game are all about immersing the player into the world. This involves not only introducing the storyline and game lore, it also means teaching the player how to control the user interface and interact with objects in the world. Our idea is to make the UI familiar enough for veteran EQ players to jump right in and feel comfortable while including enough refinements to make the experience easier on the new player.
