Temple of Elemental Evil Review

The actual content of the game is strong; the combat is both engaging and authentic; and debuting features like the modified 3.5 rules and Item creation feats will go down enormously well with the hardcore D&D elite. The mixture of pre-rendered backgrounds and highly detailed - albeit tiny - polygonal characters is very pleasing to the eye and the music is suitably fantastic. Those who have been waiting for a proper representation of D&D on the PC and who don't mind filling in the odd blank here and there will get a lot out of ToEE. It's just the other 95% of the gaming population that should steer clear.
