Deus Ex: Invisible War Reviews

Well so far the game sounds good, right? The problem is that it just doesn't feel as grand in scope. You do have a lot of choices, there's plenty of action, and impressive graphics. On the other hand, it took most people about 30 hours to finish Deus Ex, but it only took me about 9 hours to finish this sequel, so more content wouldn't have hurt it.
But then again, this is a game with a lot of replayability, since those with a lot of time on their hands might want to play the game again as a different type of character. It has been said that you're supposed to be able to finish the game without killing anyone, but I can promise you that you're in for a world of frustration if you try that yourself.
And the guys at Next Level Gaming gave it a 85/100:
It is quite easy to write about the few design missteps in Invisible War but I've found it hard to explain the ability it has to grab you in and not let go. Many of the problems will be easily forgotten if you loved the original for the freedom provided and the cyberpunk flavored world of conspiracy you were thrust into. For the naysayers, and there are many, I can only say you are missing an interesting chapter in the Deus Ex mythos and are taking for granted the experience it does provide. As I mentioned earlier, Unreal is under this baby's hood so it may be only a matter of time before a few clever individuals start modding Invisible War. The question is whether those alienated hardcore PC Deus Ex fans are willing to accept Invisible War as is once patched, or wait for the mod community to kick into gear.
