Actually, what amazed me about Knights of the Old Republic was that the more I played it, all of those individual elements started to blend together, melding into one spectacular Star Wars experience. While I know that thousands of people have played this game, after finishing it, I felt this personal connection to the storyline and all the characters who had accompanied me on this amazing journey. This is also an opportunity for me to scream at an uncaring industry about the importance of securing decent writers for your games. One of the key elements of Knights of the Old Republic is a well-developed script filled with characters we actually care about. DO - THIS - MORE! Nothing kills the game experience faster than crappy writing, and for all the good qualities that Knights of the Old Republic brings to the table, if the brilliant storyline hadn't sucked you in, none of the cool graphics, great sound effects, or gameplay mechanics would have mattered. Bravo, BioWare -- welcome to the top of the heap!
