Warlords Battlecry III Review

WB3 seems like a beautiful woman with a lisp; whilst you can get involved with her other charms, the lisp is the thing that will keep galling you. Anybody that has played and enjoyed the previous Battlecry games will find a lot to do in WB3, but newcomers to the genre will just fixate on the '˜lisp', that being the sluggard AI, pathfinding and late '˜90s graphics engine. However, the sheer number of races and tactical iterations arising from it will more then compensate in the eyes of many RTS gamers, and bespeaks of the kind of depth only found in more serious titles such as Rise of Nations. And, frankly, we're all sick of overseeing humans; WB3 allows you the chance to make their lives miserable with giant, intelligent insects. Just like playing your own B movie.
