Q: Any juicy plot twists you can share?
A: You do end up getting embroiled in an adventure with some fun plot twists. But we actually don't talk much about the story because it's not what we think makes most games, and most movies for that matter, truly engaging. It's really the moments along the way that are so memorable, which is how we've designed The Bard's Tale.
The game's filled with humorous moments, with unusual characters reacting and speaking in ways that are not only funny, but believable. When the bar patrons dupe The Bard into battling the fire-breathing rat and then end up laughing at him when he comes running up the stairs in flames, he's PISSED! Wouldn't you be? These moments occur throughout the game with no slowdown near the end, and this is what really will make it an exceptional experience.
