Upon launch, Jump to Lightspeed will have 100 missions that begin with a very basic mission. After installation, the player has to talk to a few NPCs and is given a very basic ship that can't be customized and upgraded. It is from this moment that the player can continue progressing through missions and earning prestige to gain their own fully customizable ships. There is even going to be multipassenger ships and the developers are hoping that this might play into the economy and that a tourism or transport service might start. The Lady Luck is a ship with a wall of windows that would make a great tourism ship to explore the beautiful areas of space.
