What most of these dictate is self-explanatory; two of them stand a little bit, though: luck, and rhythm. Luck is a bit of a wild-card, as even the game's onscreen text-description isn't too clear on what it effects. The effects of rhythm, on the other hand, can be seen very frequently. A high rhythm attribute will affect the power level of the creatures that the bard summons with his music. The higher your score, the more damage your summons will deal out, and by the same token, they'll be able to take more of a beating.
With that in mind, I decided to jack up my character's rhythm and strength scores. In short, I wanted to be play a damage-dealing powerhouse. My paper-thin vitality score was a bit of a concern, and I indeed felt it later on, when I was felled in nearly one blow by a raging bugbear (or what appeared to be one, anyway, but I don't want to ruin anything).
