Catacombs' new, far more detailed and customizable player models are immediately noticeable, as are the improved graphics in general. The five added classes promise different styles of play, perhaps most of all the Hibernian Vampiir, which draws power by striking its enemies and requires particularly careful health management. The addition of instancing reflects the product's core focus on small groups and individuals, allowing shorter play sessions to feel meaningful. Dynamic difficulty scaling will make these private areas accessible to all character levels. Each realm will expand to include a cavernous subterranean area populated with new foes. Within them, players must discover what is changing the denizens into mindless evil slaves.
