The original KOTOR was a brilliant game from a design standpoint, and it was tons of fun to role-play in a cool Star Wars setting. Obsidian took an already successful formula and ran with it to great results. The Sith Lords may not feel quite as familiar as its predecessor, but these are entirely new stories, so it's certainly forgivable. If you're an extremely impatient person, some of the backtracking and load times between areas might frustrate you, but this also occurred in the first game and in both cases, it's all worth it. Just like the first game, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is a smash hit. It's fun, the story is great, the powers are cool and lightsabers just never get old in my book.
