Overall, while this expansion doesn't bring anything revolutionary to the Dark Age of Camelot experience, it does well with respect to its stated goal of making the game more enjoyable for newer and average players. Leveling up a new character without having to play long sessions is much easier than before; you can log in, adventure for a couple of hours and feel like you've accomplished something. Although certain parts of the community would have preferred more emphasis on expanding and improving the elder game, Catacombs is a welcome addition.
