Explorer Armor was created by Artech, an Elven ranger of the town of Aman'Lu. The armor he created was highly regarded by rangers because it was appealing, sturdy, and easy to enchant, but never sacrificed mobility. One day Artech created a suit of armor he called the Plainswalker and set off for adventures of his own. The elves in his former home-town heard many stories of his travels and heroic deeds, but they never saw him again.
