Q: What is your all time favorite CRPG and why?

A: Planescape: Torment. It was the first CRPG I ever played that left me feeling like I'd actually taken the personal journey. The ending and last third of that game are CRPG history and a good lesson on how to invest the player in the outcome of the game.
