WORLD OF WARCRAFT® TO LAUNCH IN SINGAPORE
Blizzard Entertainment® partners with iGames Asia to bring
critically acclaimed online game to thousands of new players
Singapore - July 21, 2005 - Blizzard Entertainment®, Inc. today announced the release of its highly anticipated subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), World of Warcraft®, in Singapore. The announcement is being greeted with excitement in the island republic, where the Warcraft® series is one of the biggest-selling PC gaming brands.* Blizzard has selected iGames Asia as the exclusive distribution and marketing partner for World of Warcraft in Singapore.
World of Warcraft boxes and 60-days prepaid cards will be available islandwide. Players from Singapore will join Australia, New Zealand, and North America on U.S. servers. A broadband connection is recommended for optimum play.
