One of the most innovative things in DSII is how it handles replayability. According to GPG, you can play through the campaign three times, and each subsequent time you start with the character that you ended with the previous time, meaning that the game scales up to become a tougher challenge each time you replay. One run through could easily go up to 60 hours, not including replays and meticulous exploration.
