The combat of these games is lively, engaging, and easily managed with an exceptional interface, but it's wearying to face your twenty-sixth sewer map on your long road to ultimate infamy. Maybe being a villain isn't all that the brochure promised, but those giddy early levels and powerful later ones just might make the middle slog worthwhile. Worlds aren't crushed overnight, y'know.
