GameSpot is reporting that EA's Jim Norwood has revealed a new Lord of the Rings RPG entitled "The White Council" in a recent interview at 3D Realms' website. Here is what GameSpot lists as part of the Q&A:

A: I'm currently on Lord of the Rings: The White Council at EA as a software engineer. It's a new RPG game. That's all public information, so feel free to look it up on the internet or EA's website.

I can't seem the find this text in the Q&A anymore, though. A conspiracy, perhaps? Or was the interview edited at the request of EA?
