While I quite enjoyed playing Auto Assault, especially the times I got to blow stuff up with my increasingly powerful truck, I still found the experience oddly hollow.

The effects a player can have on the world seemed too fleeting, which in the end detracts from that sense of reality that NetDevil so painstakingly built up through the destructible environment and changing weather.

I still found this action-oriented MMO a breath of fresh air in a genre mostly populated with things that swing swords. I'll dig further into it when I find the time.
