We were first tasked with recovering some elemental objects from deep within a hostile jungle environment, which we were able to travel to within seconds via the overworld map. Once inside the jungle-dungeon, we immediately felt comfortable with the gameplay, which recalled other hack-and-slash dungeon crawlers like Diablo or Champions of Norrath. Though in the demo we found that we were only facing one enemy at a time, and that having the battle mage at our side made the fights even more one-sided.

The version we played is only 30% complete, which probably explains why we only had a choice of playing as a general warrior or magic user classes. The developers aren't ready to commit to the number of playable character classes in the final version, nor would they tell us how many levels would exist. We were told, though, that 2K Games is giving the developers plenty of leeway in how long they have to complete the game, meaning they'll have plenty of time to figure out how many levels and character classes work the best. We were also told that no matter what the number of stages is, they won't include monotonous skin-change levels. You know the kind - the ones where you play through the exact same level with different colors.
