You can choose from three different character classes, including: warrior, scout and mage. Each has two basic attacks, one strong and one weak. These were devastatingly effective on most enemies, but you also get a series of magical attacks and upgradeable combos. Developers didn't offer specifics in terms of an exact count for spells and combos, but you should get about 15 for each type. You upgrade everything through Diablo-like skill trees.
The second is at GameSpy:
One of the biggest things that distinguishes UT: DK from the handheld titles, besides just the graphics, is the camera perspective. Rather than the isometric view that dominated the portable titles, this new game has a camera that is closer to a third-person action game. While the camera still feels a little loose, the ability to click on R3 to re-center it feels very intuitive, and hopefully, with more work, it should work much more smoothly in the finished product. UT: DK will utilize the Havok physics engine for players to interact with the universe. In combination with the control scheme, the physics enable characters to juggle enemies in midair and create combos for attack. The game will also utilize environmental elements in conjunction with Havok to create puzzles, such as smashing a boulder down a hill to open a barricaded gate.
And the third is at Games Radar:
One of the things about Dark Kingdom that was hyped in early showings was its realistically interactive environments, and while it won't be as cool as we were once led to believe - you won't be able to pick up an enemy and swing him around like a club after all - we were able to pick up baddies, boulders and exploding barrels and chuck them around to do tons of damage.
