Indeed, getting your hands dirty is arguably one of Age of Conan's most prominent features. Being based on Robert E. Howard's Conan the Cimmerian novels (sorry, Arnie fans!) naturally gives the combat a barbaric edge, with the ability to string together attack combos resulting in a greater sense of immediacy and involvement compared to other titles in the genre. It's not quite an action RPG -- statistics still play a predominant role -- but you are given a variety of physical attack options through a set of on-screen buttons. A smartly executed combo will finish off weakened foes with a fatality animation and a satisfying splatter of blood across the screen.
The second is at GrrlGamer:
Other details woth mentioning are drunken brawling, which is a form of PVP that you do in taverns, raids for up to 24 people, cone spells that will hit or heal everyone in that cone range (the cone is visible on the screen), a secondary bag system that will carry your quest items instead of taking slots of your regular bag, and the possibility to solo up to level 80.
And the third is at Game Vortex:
Players will travel across 30 regions spread throughout the three nations of Aquilonia, Stygia and Cimmeria and will battle it out in dangerous jungles, mountainous terrain, sweltering deserts, dark dungeons and bustling cities. Not only will they have to contend with other players and NPC's, but also with environmental hazards as well, so be prepared for intense Player vs. Player vs. Environment action.
