Top 10 Worst Video Game Sequels

Obsidian Entertainment's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was not a bad game, despite its unwieldy, multi-coloned title. For one, it was a follow-up to the smash hit, first-of-its-kind Star Wars RPG from BioWare, Knights of the Old Republic. For another, despite having a different developer, KOTOR II maintained the great gameplay mechanics which helped make its predecessor such a hit.
KOTOR II ultimately failed most as a compelling, fan-servicing narrative. Believed by many to be released as an incomplete product following a rushed development period (a fact which is supported by evidence of missing content within the game's files), KOTOR II's story is full of holes (and more than a few gameplay bugs). The worst offender is the game's closing sequence - Light Side OR Dark Side - which isn't really an ending so much as it is proof that you've wasted a colossal amount of time. Even Jar-Jar Binks mysteriously appearing to save the day would have been more fulfilling than the closure hopeful fans never received.
I think that's a bit of a stretch. The ending might have been disappointing, but the game was entertaining enough not to make my own such list.
